DOJ & Homeland are having serious discussions about red-flagging you if you purchase more than 7 days of food such as rice, grains, cooking oil, and salt. Gun ammunition is at the top of the list too. Even states are getting on board. There currently is a discussion in Sacramento, CA on this very issue. Neat!
In fact, the wording in my comments here could draw interest.

I appreciate what you've said and yes, it could get you a little visit, talking like this. I prefer U.S.S.A., however, and I know there are a couple rogue Congressjackasses - er, I mean Congressmen - who are objecting to the unconstitutional NDAA which contains provisions that authorize indefinite military detention and trial by military commission of “any person” – including U.S. citizens and lawful residents – upon the mere say-so of the President or one of his subordinates in the Executive Branch, such as within the Department of Defense or CIA. You're probably right when you USSR. It's probably closer to that than it is to a USSA.
